Welcome to the AfCS Signaling Maps

To view all the features in this section you will need a Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) viewer installed on your computer. SVG is a new Web graphics and development language that works with your browser and lends many useful features to the AfCS Signaling Maps.

If you have already installed an SVG viewer then simply select a map from one of the above categories. To download and install the Adobe SVG Viewer please click the link below, otherwise you can choose to view the maps without SVG.

Download Adobe SVG Viewer: Select this option to download and install the Adobe SVG Viewer.  Although other SVG viewers are available, the features in this site work best with the Adobe viewer. If you have Abobe Illustrator version 10 or newer, you might already have the SVG Viewer installed. You may need to restart your browser after installation.

View maps without SVG: This option will allow you to view maps without SVG. Please note that several viewing features will not be available with this option.

Map Categories

Maps are grouped by general, macrophage, or fxm project categories. General maps include pathways that are not specific to any cell type and might be considered a generic representation exisiting in many cell types. Maps in the macrophage category include pathways found primarily in macrophages that lend specialized functions to these cells. Maps within the fxm project category represent pathways that link UDP, C5a, or IgG2a to calcium and phosphoinositide 3-phosphate signaling.

Map Symbology
